Most of my favorite blogs are consistent posters, and I would like to be. I have searched high and low for a niche, but I don’t have one, so random thoughts are going to have to suffice.

I’m not much one for fireworks, I like them – but not enough to really seek them out (the logistics of things like traffic and people are not my forte). And this year, of course, many city-sanctioned displays have been shuttered due to ‘rona safety concerns.

However, tonight my niece surprised me with a Facetime request to share her neighborhood (and my brother)’s display. Given it was a suburban neighborhood show, 9-year-old with a phone and a poor internet connection, the results were not quite on par with the photo above, but somehow, they were better.
